不间断电源、功率计,以及一台全天运行的机器一年实际的电费。
8 件产品
- APCAPC BE600M1 7-Outlet Back-UPS NetworkAPC
600VA and 330W across seven outlets: the smallest unit that sensibly covers a router, a modem, and one low-draw machine. Note what the listing does not claim. APC markets its BR line as pure sine wave and says nothing of the sort here, which matters if the load includes an Apple power supply. For network gear alone it is beside the point. Not tested here yet.
- APC BR1500MS2 Back-UPS ProAPC
1500VA and 900W, and APC does say pure sine wave here, which puts it in the same conversation as the CyberPower PFC units rather than the cheaper Back-UPS line. The user-replaceable battery is the quiet argument for it: every UPS battery dies in three to five years, and the ones you cannot open become landfill on that schedule. Not tested here yet.
- CyberPowerCyberPower CP1000PFCLCDCyberPower
1000VA and 600W with pure sine wave output, which matters because Apple's active PFC power supplies dislike the simulated wave that cheaper units produce. Sized to carry a Mac mini and the router together, which is the whole point: a machine that survives a power dip but loses its network has not survived anything. Not tested here yet.
- CyberPowerCyberPower CP1500PFCLCDCyberPower
The same pure sine wave design at 1500VA and 1000W, with 12 outlets instead of 10. Worth the step up only if several machines and the network gear all need to ride out the same dip. Not tested here yet.
- CyberPowerCyberPower EC850LCD EcologicCyberPower
850VA and 510W with twelve outlets, which is more sockets than most desks need and exactly right for a cluster of small machines plus the network they depend on. ECO mode cuts peripherals when the main device sleeps, which is of no use to a machine that never sleeps. The listing does not claim sine wave output. Not tested here yet.
- P3 InternationalP3 International P4460 Kill A Watt EZP3 International
The same measurement with the arithmetic built in: enter your tariff and it accumulates by the kilowatt-hour and projects the cost by day, week, month, or year. That is the whole reason to take it over the P4400, since a machine that runs continuously is judged on the annual number, not the instantaneous one. Not tested here yet.
- P3P3 P4400 Kill A WattP3
Plugs between the wall and the machine and tells you what it actually draws. Worth owning before any argument about running costs, because guesses about idle draw are usually wrong by a factor that changes the answer. The plain model: it measures, it does not compute a bill. Not tested here yet.
- Tripp LiteTripp Lite IBAR6-6D IsobarTripp Lite
A surge protector, not a UPS: it survives a spike and does nothing whatever for a cut. Included because the two are constantly confused, and buying this when you needed a battery is a mistake you only discover during an outage. Metal housing, 3300 joules, lifetime warranty. Not tested here yet.
